Commercial Capital Company is pleased to announce several key leadership updates that reflect the company’s continued growth and investment in operational excellence. 

Seth Seely Promoted to Vice President of Finance and Credit 

Commercial Capital Company is proud to announce the promotion of Seth Seely to Vice President of Finance and Credit. In his expanded role, Seth will continue leading the company’s credit function and collections team while also overseeing asset recovery and warehouse inventory management. 

Since initially joining Commercial Capital as Director of Credit in 2024, Seth has been instrumental in strengthening credit policies, streamlining approvals, and enhancing financial operations. His leadership has helped secure new strategic banking partnerships, improve liquidity, and sustain double-digit portfolio growth. 

Recently recognized by Monitor magazine as one of the NextGen Top 40 Under 40 in the equipment finance industry, Seth exemplifies the next generation of leadership driving innovation and integrity across the field. 

Seth’s vision is to modernize Commercial Capital’s finance and credit functions by merging rigorous risk management with cutting-edge technology. From AI-driven underwriting to IoT-enabled asset monitoring, his focus is on creating smarter, faster, and more adaptive financing solutions that benefit both clients and partners. 

 

Cady Bate Promoted to Director of Loan Operations and Legal Compliance 

Cady Bate has been promoted to Director of Loan Operations and Legal Compliance at Commercial Capital Company. Cady will oversee the Titles and Documentation departments and continue managing the company’s legal needs in her expanded role. 

This promotion reflects her expertise and the significant impact she has made since joining the company in September 2024. In addition to her accomplishments within the company, Cady was recently named to Monitor’s Most Influential People in Equipment Finance list for 2025, recognizing her as an industry advocate who is shaping the future of equipment finance through leadership, innovation, and a commitment to ethical growth.

Commercial Capital Welcomes Erika Tebbetts as Accounting Controller 

Erika Tebbetts has joined Commercial Capital Company as Accounting Controller. In this role, Erika will lead the accounting team, ensuring operational accuracy and compliance while managing the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts. Her expertise in finance and operations will help strengthen internal controls and support the company’s continued growth. 

Erika brings more than a decade of progressive accounting and finance experience. Most recently, she served as Director of Finance and Business Operations at SelectQuote Insurance Services, where she helped drive financial strategy and operational efficiency. Prior to that, she spent five years as VP of Finance at Dynamic Logistics, following roles as Senior Accountant at Ryan Transportation Service and Accounting Coordinator at Hy-Vee.

Commercial Capital Welcomes Chris Kovarik as Director of Sales

Commercial Capital Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Kovarik as Director of Sales. Kovarik brings more than a decade of leadership experience in building and scaling high-performing sales teams. Most recently, he served at ANGI, where he played a pivotal role in driving triple-digit growth within the advertising sales industry. His background in strategic team development, operational excellence, and relationship-driven leadership aligns seamlessly with Commercial Capital’s growth strategy as the company continues to scale.

As Director of Sales, Kovarik will build on the company’s proven sales strategy by advancing team performance and strengthening relationships with vendors and customers nationwide. His leadership will further enhance Commercial Capital’s commitment to delivering flexible, relationship-driven equipment financing solutions to businesses across industries.
