Commercial Capital Company is proud to announce that Cady Bate, Director of Loan Operations and Legal Compliance, has been named one of Monitor’s Most Influential People for 2025. This prestigious recognition highlights professionals who are shaping the future of the equipment finance industry through leadership, advocacy, and innovation.
Cady joined Commercial Capital in September 2024 and has already made a significant impact on the company’s legal and operational framework. In her current role, she oversees the Titles and Documentation departments, manages all legal and compliance functions, and reports directly to COO Jonathan Yount. Her leadership ensures that Commercial Capital maintains the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and client service as the company continues to scale.
Beyond her role at Commercial Capital, Cady is a committed industry advocate who believes in proactively shaping the future of equipment finance. Her approach centers on staying informed about regulatory changes, market trends, and emerging technologies like e-signatures and UCC filing automation. She collaborates closely with industry partners and internal teams to develop advocacy strategies that promote balanced, sustainable growth.
“Advocacy allows us to proactively shape the rules rather than just react to them,” Bate said. “It strengthens the collective voice of equipment finance professionals, ensuring lawmakers and regulators understand the economic importance of our industry and the real-world consequences of their decisions.”
Cady’s proudest advocacy achievement has been building a network of industry contacts through the Equipment Finance Legal Forum, enabling her to participate in shaping industry regulations and best practices from the start rather than responding after changes are made.
Before joining Commercial Capital, Cady held roles at CrossFirst Bank in commercial loan documentation and worked as a corporate paralegal for firms including Dentons, AMK Law, Duggan
Shadwick Doerr & Kurlbaum, and Millsap & Singer, P.C. Her deep legal and compliance background, paired with her passion for advocacy, continues to strengthen Commercial Capital’s leadership in the industry.
Cady’s recognition as one of Monitor’s Most Influential People shows her exceptional contributions to the field and reflects Commercial Capital’s ongoing commitment to empowering professionals who are driving progress in equipment finance.
