Brett Kaemmer
My name is Brett Kaemmer and I am from Overland Park, Kansas. I will be a Senior at The University of Kansas next year and am a double major in Accounting and Finance along with getting my Insurance Certificate. I am a big KU and Packers fan, and I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, going to the lake, and playing golf in my free time.
Jackson Surratt
Hello! My name is Jackson Surratt, and I am a finance student at Washington University in St. Louis, where I plan to graduate May 2026. I am also a scholar-athlete on the varsity football team; I am passionate about using business to drive meaningful change. I served on the Board for Jacob’s Closet and Emerald Mission, a nonprofit company that provides clothing, food, and hygiene essentials to patients at mental health institutions in the Kansas City area. I have experience in sales and customer service, and I am particularly interested in exploring the intersection of finance and sports. Outside of academics and athletics, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends.
Kendall Brown
Hi, I’m Kendall Brown, and I’m a Junior at the University of Missouri studying Finance and Banking. I’m originally from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and I’m passionate about helping businesses grow through smart financial strategies. At Mizzou, I’m actively involved in the Association of Trulaske Businesswomen and a proud member of Pi Beta Phi, where I’ve developed strong leadership, collaboration, and community engagement skills. I’m excited to bring my energy, professionalism, and passion for finance into real-world opportunities that make a difference.
Hannah Watts
Hi I’m Hannah Watts! I’m from Olathe, KS, and I am a marketing student at Northwest Missouri State University. I’m eager to contribute to the team, take on creative challenges, and gain hands-on experience. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, going on walks, shopping, and playing pickleball. I also volunteer at my local church, supporting food and clothing drives that serve low-income individuals. My responsibilities include sorting donations and helping distribute resources during outreach events. This internship is a great opportunity, and I’m eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact.
Ryan Robinson
My name is Ryan Robinson, and I’m going into junior year at the University of Kansas, where I’m studying finance. I’m a big sports fan and love playing golf in my free time. I’m excited to be part of the intern team this summer and look forward to learning and connecting with everyone.
Jordan Rice
My name is Jordan Rice; I am 19 years old and went to Blue Valley Southwest Highschool. I attended Central Community College (CCC) in Columbus, Nebraska. I am studying Business administration and finance. I love to watch and play baseball, golf, and football. I also like hanging out with friends and family.
Folake Ojo
Hi, my name is Folake, and I’m from Nigeria. I’m a senior studying Business Analyties at the University of Kansas. I’m passionate about helping people, building meaningful connections, and finding thoughtful ways to solve problems. Outside of work, I enjoy doing a wide range of things like dancing, reading, singing, running, traveling, and volunteering. I’ve also had the chance to model for Kansas City Fashion Week four times, and I’m currently working on research about Generative AI.
Kate McKnight
Hi, I’m Kate McKnight, I am a junior at Texas Christian University double majoring in Finance and Accounting. I’m originally from Shawnee, Kansas, and I’m excited to be interning with Commercial Capital Company this summer. At TCU, I serve on the executive board of Letters of Love, a national nonprofit that creates handwritten cards for children in hospitals. I also work as an after-school tutor with local third graders, it is an experience that has strengthened my communication, patience, and leadership skills. I’m also passionate about learning, connecting with others, and bringing positive energy into everything I do.
Max Nearmyer
My name is Max Nearmyer, and I’m from Olathe, Kansas. I’m currently pursuing a finance degree at Benedictine College, where I’m also a member of the men’s soccer team. I’m grateful for the opportunity to dive into the equipment finance world this summer and explore its many different areas.
